What can I say....woah.

Woah, what a day.

One of me teammates and I went to Singapore Discovery Centre early (like...8.30am-ish?) to set up our booth and to get into the zone. I had to quickly dress up as Roxas before the crowd start pouring in, and MAN the people start arriving (not counting other booth vendors or the NS men)at 10.

Quite a bit of cosplayers, and I even got to network a lil' bit with them. It's really interesting how cosplayers lead their lives when they aren't in their costumes. People from all walks of life are practically there. You got students, engineers, doctors, and even lawyers. 8O

Here's a big shout-out to all you beautiful people I've met and/or came to drop by my booth! 8D And an even BIGGER shout-out to you guys who purchased our fan-made merchandise! Though I hope my Roxas cosplay was convincing enough....(i HAVE been working out...just not so sure if what I did is enough lol)

But the 2 highlights of the day have to be the orchestra playing most of my favourite songs (overture to KH & FFX soundtracks) that had me squealing over them and singing the FFX prayer along.

And of course, the omnipotent GOD of all cosplayers...

GOLDY~~~~~!!!!!!!!!!!!

HOLY MACKEREL THAT GUY'S MOBILE SUIT GUNDAM IS TOTALLY OFF THE HOOK!!!! DETACHABLE LASER STAFF, ACTUAL FIREARMS AND EVEN THE OPENING HATCH EFFECTS ARE COMPLETELY MIND-BLOWING!!! And what's even more impressive is, he can ACTUALLY WALK in that costume. 8O

Needless to say, the camcorders and cameras instantly fell into a snapping & taping frenzy once Goldy makes his appearance onstage. They are STILL snapping after 10 minutes.....LOL

Thank you Goldy-san, for taking time to come down to Singapore with your awesome Gundam costume. That's something I'll NEVER forget (and would probably be droning to my grandkids about one day. Heh)

Signing off, because I caught a small case of heatstroke at the event which developed into a small cold. (PVC AND leather...NOT a good combo)
