Organization XIII Card Deck Success!:-

Holy crap, my group's Organization XIII card deck received a rather resounding response from deviants! 8D

Thank you all very much for your favs, comments, constructive criticism, and compliments! 8D We even have people wanting to PRINT them out for their own Organization XIII cosplays! *O* An artist couldn't ask for more. XD

I thank all of you beautiful people on behalf of my group members, and I'm sure they're just as pleased.

Preparations for AFA09:-

AFA09 (Anime Festival Asia 2009) is coming, and I'm up to my forehead in work and booth preparations, not to mention patching up my Roxas Organization XIII cloak, Oblivion and Oathkeeper (which is giving me seizures right now. God, how I HATE patching and repainting that structurally weak keyblade... <<;)

For those who are a bit lost, I'll wrap things up in a few sentences: One of the more popular art exhibitions in Singapore, Kaleidoscope, will be exhibiting during AFA09. The winning works from Extravaganza, a digital and traditional art competition featuring game conceptual and sequential art, will also be displayed. I'll be one of the people manning the booths from time to time, making sure no funny business is going on. During the prize presentation ceremony, I'll be representing my side of the organizers and will be handing out prizes to the winning recipients.

IN MY ROXAS COSTUME!!! XD

I mean, seriously, who WOULDN'T be thrilled to have their prizes handed out by a popular game character. XD

In fact, I'll be dressed as Roxas for both days of AFA, so I should be pretty recognisable amongst the crowd. XD XD If not, then my keyblades will be. (I almost poked someone's eye out the other day while testing the stability of Oblivion. Sorry, anonymous person. =P)

Or~~~ I could always changed into Roxas later in the day, if others think it's a bit much. XD (So far, no one does.)

Signing off now, to...repaint Oathkeeper...dang Oblivion never gave me that much trouble. Why Oathkeeper, WHY? =_=

I'm always happy to attend cosplay events. The people, the limelight, the merchandise, the limelight, the performances, the linelight, the networking, & more of the limelight. Fufufufu...

In case you're wondering about rather well-done lobster look I was spotting that day, it's not because I'm flushed with joy. That's partly the reason. The main reason because IT'S REALLY FREAKING HOT IN PVC AND LEATHER D8<

Although I did sleep rather soundly after the event is over, so I guess the small heatstroke lulled me to sleep? Rofl???

Looking forward to seeing you around DA 8D. Will be posting some of the merchandise on my gallery soon 8D

Costume huh? Which character do you have in mind for cosplay? 8D I can guarantee though, if you're planning on any Final Fantasy or Kingdom Hearts related costume (or any other character that came from Square Enix as a matter of fact), be prepared to SLOG your guts out.

Oathkeeper and Oblivion took me 2 months to complete. I went for clay stiff boards and chicken wire instead of foam because I want my weapons to be super sturdy. Well, got my wish, only it cost me 2 months worth of sleep DX. Plus, I almost poked someone's eye out and almost knocked someone else unconscious during AFA. Oops. XD

Yes. FLUSHED OMG D8. Like fire-engine red flushed lol. *coughAxel'shaircough*

OMG Arkon FINALLY got comments *sobs* THANK YOU SO MUCH. He (it???) have been feeling SUPER neglected. You get a cookie! 8D *holds up virtual cookie*

But yea, I took part in Mangaka before, back in 2007. XD You planning on participating Mangaka2009? Or...? 8D
